Our service

Care by material

With the right care, outdoor furniture lasts for years. Share these tips with your customers to keep them satisfied.

Aluminium

Light, rust-free and virtually maintenance-free. A powder-coated aluminium frame stays beautiful with a clean a few times a year.

Do

  • Clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap
  • Rinse with clean water and let it dry
  • Touch up any scratches with a paint pen in the right colour

Better not

  • No abrasive cleaners or scouring pads
  • No aggressive or chlorine-based cleaners
  • Do not drag over tiles or concrete

Teak

Teak is naturally rich in oil and therefore highly weather-resistant. Left untreated, it develops a silver-grey patina over time.

Do

  • Clean with water, a soft brush and teak cleaner
  • Want to keep the warm colour? Treat with teak protector
  • Let the wood dry thoroughly after rain

Better not

  • No pressure washer: it damages the wood fibres
  • No glasses or hot pans directly on the top
  • Hairline cracks are natural and not a defect

Wicker & rope

Synthetic wicker and outdoor rope are UV- and weather-resistant. Dirt and leaves are easy to remove.

Do

  • Vacuum or brush loose dirt out of the weave
  • Clean with a soft brush and mild soap
  • Let rope dry thoroughly after rain

Better not

  • No sharp objects in the weave
  • Do not leave standing in water for long periods
  • Do not use solvents

Cushions & textiles

Our all-weather cushions dry quickly and are water-repellent. With a little care they stay beautiful for years.

Do

  • Stand cushions upright to dry after a shower
  • Clean stains immediately with lukewarm water and mild soap
  • Store them dry and ventilated in winter

Better not

  • Do not tumble-dry the covers
  • Do not use bleach
  • Do not store wet – it causes mould

Parasols

A parasol lasts longest when the canopy is stored clean and dry.

Do

  • Close the parasol in strong wind
  • Always let the canopy dry before closing it
  • Use a protective cover out of season

Better not

  • Do not leave open in a storm or unattended
  • Do not machine-wash the canopy
  • Do not use a base that is too light
